Level 9563 has changed and there were zero purples when I just tried it. :'( Last time I used level 1000 to play for chocolate box rewards there were close to as many as there are of the other colors (one needs over 450 of blue, green and orange).
Yup, regardless of what level you have, you need to go forward to get purple candies, not going back just to het them. Hope King will listen
i tried my best but i didn’t know that it might be okay to go back to a lower level just to get purple candies. I didn’t take about it though since on mind, on contest or tournament regardless of any levels should ALWAYS go forward not going backward just to get purple candies. If it’s ok then i may try though. Thanks for your comments. E29

@Rhonda_L, the only “go to” now for purple that I know is 9000 but it gives lesser than the 1000 that I used to go! 😭😭😭
Yep, @firefox111 , I posted on another thread that 1000 used to be a 'go to' level for me. Saw a few months ago they switched the purple to red. Also, I went to 9583 and that's now only orange and yellow.
It is sad that it has to be like this! I’m not playing the purple candie collection contest anymore.

Right! I just went down to 1000 and no more purple! That’s evil! King is evil. When King finds out that you are getting contest candies from a level, they remove the color from that level. That’s mean!
I don't have a specific level, as I'm only at the early 7,000s. However, they say the Star Tournament is a very potent purple candies source.
That's 380,000 points supposedly within a day. 🧐

Now to be able to finish new levels youve got to have lots of boosters and gold bars only to get few purple candies bec its not the purple level.
Actually I was not able to qualify for the next round due to busy schedule but not regretting since purple level candies and candies are so rare. Really a hard event. Congrats for making it and the rest of the players.
Yes, there are a lot of players complaining that purple candies have deliberately been removed from so many levels just to make it harder to get ahead in competitions like All Stars by replaying old levels. I used to think it was to stop cheater bots, but actually I now think it's because players will only spend money on trying to pass new levels. They want people to spend money, it's quite simple.
I passed the qualifying event but purple candies then was only x10 plus very few levels of purple candies. So I am using 2 phones simultaneously for the old and new level. Still I was not able to get that much candies even if I play non stop for 8 hours. I am now on level 13200.
This was for the last event before this all star showing how low the purple candies are.
Are you playing new levels @lelensp ? I played in the qualifier round and easily got 4000-5000 with the x30 multiplier per level. Also I can play three episodes in a 1 hour session. Some players manage more. If you play 50 new levels per hour with an average of 4000 stars for 8 hours that would get you to 1.6 million. Not quite as much as @cookiemae but then I didn't even get into the semi finals myself.
How did you come up to that score in 8 hours. With an average of 500 most purple candies in a level for 8 hours gave me only 120000 purple candies plus to double it I uses 2 gadgets.

I have over 3 million just by playing the star tournament for 8 hours. You don't have to cheat to get these scores. It unfortunately that people are always looking to point to cheaters because they are unable to get high scores.
My leader board has 2 players over 4 million and several others over 2 million. They must know a secret cheat code or something! Even with 30X for new levels they would need to pass close to 1000 new levels to get these scores. I cannot see any legit way to pass 1000 levels in 2 days time!! King is forever changing levels to make things harder or even impossible. Oh well, I didn't expect to win anyway, even if the playing field was even.
Ah.... your mention of level 1476 brings back happy memories....Those were the days.
