Still no escape from the stupid Candy Royale fiasco. Except, of course, to just not play Candy Crush at all.

The app had an update the other day – I am an iPhone user – but yet this issue with being forced to play Candy Royale with no option to escape still persists. What seems to be the problem with listening to your customers and correcting this? What is really going on?

It now pops up twice in certain circumstances. The dev who created Candy Royale is annoyed at how hated it is and they are trying to fudge the numbers.

I hate (HATE!) the Candy Royale game with a passion! I hate how it sneakily pops up underneath another pop up and “activates” when you hit OK thinking you’re clicking on the pop up on top, I hate having to endure the extra time it takes to load, I hate the super low number of gold bars you actually win, and I hate how it literally kicks you out if you lose. And now I have even more reason to hate it…I can’t even x out of the game. It’s like Candy Crush is forcing you to play a game you hate. And then I see they even admit that’s what they’re doing. Well, it’s been nice. Guess I just need to quit playing until this awful feature is retired.

I remember that too. I previously thought that was a glitch, but it was clearly intentional given the new tactics.
Can someone from King explain what's going on with this particular "event". Why are you forcing this on people, in fact, why does it still exist at all?
Instead of testing enforced enrolment of hated events on the masses, you need to be assessing the person/team who thought this was a good idea.

Can the x in Candy Royale be restored asap? It's extremely extremely extremely annoying to be forced to join the stupid Candy Royale. Total waste of time.

Make it go away or bring back the opt out button!!! Candy Royale is the stupidest thing y'all have done and fire the butt hurt dev who took away the X so everybody would have to play their mini game... it slows game play and is annoying
