Daily Treat Machine keeps resetting

This is getting annoying. For about the last week my daily treat machine keeps resetting back to the beginning, saying I lost progress while I was gone. The issue is that I play every day, usually multiple times throughout the day so why would it reset back to the beginning of the rewards? Yes, my game is updated, etc...
