Can’t get the game to go horizontal

Hello, for some reason the game will not go horizontal for me, it’s vertical and I can’t play that way, is there a setting on my iPad to change it back? Thanks.

So annoying! It’s not an iPad issue, it’s a game issue apparently. They are trying something new. King has changed the format

Game won’t play in horizontal or landscape mode. Don’t like it at all. I won’t play till they change it back!

Hate that it is in portrait mode….put it back

This is the way the game has been for most of us since April and is the way that, according to King, it is going to stay. You will have to stop playing if you can't or don't want to play in portrait mode. Candy Crush is now a portrait only game.

Makes no sense. The ads do not go in portrait mode. If you insist on changing the game (poor choice) change the ads too, I can’t spin all day.
