What is the purpose of the frog? Does he help me or block me from winning the game? I have not seen any explanation that tells me how to use him or get around him.

I'm player id 1009484374 and at level18227. i have had several color bombs but the Series does not show any bombs used. Additionally, I have had only 1 set of boosters (after a game ends) per day. Is there something wrong?
