I have quit playing for almost a month hoping the option to “not play” would be back. When will this be fixed? I won’t waste my time on it anymore.
They won't remove but I have a solution for it, start yoga / meditation, it will give you strength to tolerate candy royale .. 😄😄😄
I personally find Candy Royale a very good feature. It's free gold bars that come in handy to those who need them. Yes, it's not always possible to do 7-9 levels in a row from the first try but it's nice when you do.
The bug with the missing "X" button will hopefully get fixed soon. It's been too long already.
Luckily, Android users, as well as Windows PC users can cancel the Royale prompt. This isn't the case for iOS and browser version players who are stuck with it. Even then, I don't think it's such a big inconvenience that you gotta wait a few seconds.
I would like to see candy Royale gone as well. It's useless and takes up too much time trying to go in and out of it. Based on what I'm reading many people want it gone and I think if you're not going to get rid of it completely then you need to at least give us the option to x out of it.

Same here! Won’t play this game until this whole nonsense is removed from the screen totally! As someone who has played over 10 years this is a pain in the butt!

And you can also still earned more free boosters (gold bars) by another in-game features/events (also contests on this community) that you can use the boosters to beat any tricky levels too. 😉
