What @Rhonda_L has written is correct and good advice, and it is what I feared what would happen when I got my new phone a few weeks ago. But I was lucky!! I switched from an old iPhone to a new iPhone by transferring all the data, which is quite simple with iPhones. And hey, I actually found that I had MORE boosters when I opened the app on the new phone! I don't know why this happened, but it was great. I also then had two devices to play the same account on. I used up all the boosters on the old phone before I turned it off for good. Certainly do that. But yes, make sure you have saved your game and then log in to the same account on the new device and good luck!
My experience and from what I've read, your boosters and lives are saved on the device you're now using. King doesn't control that. The gold, however, they have a record of that. That being said, you'll lose your accumulated boosters and lives when you switch devices. I did, but I was aware.
Everyone suggests that you use up the boosters before you switch. That way you won't get upset. In my humble opinion. Even though I knew, it still ticked me off!
Before you switch, remember to save your game so when you log on with your new device, you'll be at the same level.
Hope this makes sense. I did it by trial and error. Learned a lot over the years just by reading this site.

I ran out of levels again. Why can’t I earn progress in the weekly contest or the Season Pass10 game that you buy in to get gold status? I only bought in to get to level 10 boosters. I made 9 and halfway to 10 when I ran out of levels and the game ended. This seems unfair since it wasn’t my fault
