My game hasn’t been updated and is still stuck on Candy Cup!

Please help, I just don't understand what happened...My profile picture is showing up in the game, but when I click my account, it says to log in, but then when I give my login credentials it says, "There was a connection error, try again in a bit".... Nothing is happening, my game is not updating, no events, no friends, what is happening please please help!
