I used to play Candy Crush forever and always earn bars,
And all kinds of toys as you progressed. Candy store is no more? What incentive do you offer to people who are loyal to the game spend money and time?

Hi there. The game has changed very much over the past few years and it also changes the higher you climb up the Candy Crush levels. As pointed out by TitanCrusher the main theme now for this game is for the use of gold bars as the currency, which function to buy extra moves in hard levels and boosters to play with. To make players buy gold bars and boosters freebies have been reduced across the board and become timed so players can't store huge numbers of them. Generally I find that in the early part of the game up to about level 2000 there are more and better features for making progress and enjoying the game. At the upper levels the game becomes too hard and the freebies become fewer. As for incentives, I am getting the impression the King strategy is coercion rather than using incentives to get players to spend money.
King wants players to buy the gold bars. Your best chance to get free gold bars is to play Candy Royale and to win the episode race. That’s it.
