Why do the Treasure chests not open???

I am currently level 2740... I play on my laptop... the treasure chests appear on my game but when i reach them they just go away and don't open?... why??... this has been happening for several months.. but never felt like i wanted to "that gamer person" who has nothing better to do than ask King Care a question that they most likely will not read or care about anyway... but thought i would try.... i need more goodness if i am going to stay caught up!
