I've heard back from the studio, and unfortunately, this Exit feature does not exist anymore, and it won't come back!
Back in the day, we used to have this option:
With the new design, this no longer fits!
The studio however, is interested in knowing why you would like an exit button. If you play through a browser, you can close the tab or close the game app if you're playing on mobile.
We would love to hear more π
