Well done! That is great for you and in fact a real party booster is better than the timed one as you can keep it for that level when you really need it. It's worth persevering with customer services, they want to get good feedback so they often do try to help.
I finally figured out how to contact customer support. They listened to my diatribe, awarded me two color bombs, one hammer, and one party booster. Not everything that a first place winner should be awarded, but, at least it was something.
same thing just happened to me
As far as I know. I have opened and the closed the app multiple times as well, since some things do not spawn the first time the app is opened.
