Since reaching levels in the 2300s, my Candy Crush Saga has started occasionally crashing.

I'm on a desktop using Windows 10. Today, I had just succeeded on level 2328 when it took me out to my desktop. When I came back, it still had me on level 2328. Is this an added challenge from King, or is something suddenly wrong with my installation? Don't want to lose my progress and have to start back at Level 1! This happens once or twice during each session of 10 or 12 games. It doesn't happen on any other software or the only other game I play, which is Microsoft's Free Cell. Help! I don't mind when I'm having a rough time with a level, but when I'm winning (or have passed) it's really discouraging!
