We wanted to inform you about a recent adjustment we've made to a game feature. We're currently in the process of conducting tests to fine-tune the functionality of combined boosters.
Specifically, we've altered the behavior of the striped and wrapped combo to simultaneously create horizontal and vertical blasts, rather than executing them sequentially.
We're considering whether this change might be contributing to any confusion but this is not a glitch, it's intended.
If you've noticed that only the horizontal blast is being triggered, it's possible that there's a bug causing this discrepancy, please let us know.
We understand that updates can sometimes generate mixed reactions and we highly value the feedback we receive, especially from those who might have reservations about our recent changes.
Your insights and experiences are pivotal in shaping the future of our game, and we appreciate your ongoing support in helping us create the best possible gaming experience for everyone.

I am thinking it was just a glitch and it must have been cleared already as it has been few hours since you have posted here! My game is working normally and I haven't seen any other complaints in the Community too!
If you are still experiencing this glitch, I would suggest you to log out from the game and turn-off your device - give it few minutes and log into the game again and try a level to see if the glitch is cleared!
If the candies are still acting the same, please come back and let us know and I will report to our Candy Community In-charge. But, you will have to wait till late Monday to hear back from them.

Is this another change by king?! You gotta be kidding me… this will make a lot of levels much harder then intended or just nearly impossible.
King can’t just change one of the core mechanics when there is over 14000 levels in the game.
Oh wait, i guess they can… because they don’t care about us. 😢

I think the change in graphics is a decision King made and is here to stay. But I also preferred the old graphics. I don't know why they keep changing things. I had a colleague at work once, who complained about "change for change's sake". I think of him when I play Candy Crush. They certainly do that a lot. Music, graphics, layout..... what is the point?

I am pretty sure that it is a glitch! There was another player couple of days ago that came in with same complaint. The suggested trouble shooting tips worked for them!
Hopefully, what you are seeing is also a glitch and not an issue and you will see the "swish" and "swash" (I like that🤩) when you restart your game.

EDITED: The CM has confirmed that what you are experiencing is a change that was brought in by the Candy Studio 😶

I think everyone hates the changes king makes, i wasn’t aware they made a new graphic for combining special candies. which i think what was happening?
Anyway, our feedback means nothing to king, we can complain non-stop but nothing will change. So i kind of just gave up hope.
I won’t be posting on here as much anymore. Happy crushing everyone! If that is even possible these days…
