The app on my device is not recognizing my email that that I can log back in.
You can either contact them here clicking on ‘contact us’ below the gold King sign below or thru your game app by going to settings and clicking on the Question mark. That takes you to the help center. Go ahead and click on the topic that best fits your issue, and then when you get to their answer - it asks if that answered you question. Be sure to click on Contact us and you will then be contacting player support directly. 😊

I play on an iPhone too. I have both a FB and King account and they are linked. I recommend having two different ways to sign in. You could use your Apple account and also the King account. That way if one of the sites is temporarily having issues, you can still log in.
I’m not sure why it won’t recognize your email. Why don’t you turn off your phone for 10-15 seconds and then try logging back in and see if maybe it was a temporary issue with connecting to the server. I doubt player support would be able to find your information based upon what your user name and avatar were, if it still wont recognize your email.
However, you could create a new King account and contact player support to let them know what happened and ask them to restore your game to your previous level (4000+).
I am sorry this happened to you and hopefully player support can help and restore you to your previous level.

Are you able to click on the Pink Cog Wheel from your game home screen
Device - mobile phone.
Logged in - King account.
When I click Forgot Password and enter email on the next screen, it says "This email is not linked to a King account." I had logged out (was on a level higher than 4000). My name was Meme and my profile pic was a pot of flowers.

Need few details please.... which device are you using? Are you logged in through Facebook or Kingdom account (logging through email & password);
