No, the complaint isn't about that. Can still send lives by the method you suggest but no lives are being received. I haven't received any lives from friends from around Sunday last week. I also have a group of friends who send lives daily but nothing at all for almost a week. It must be a glitch..

Question, did you uninstall, then reinstall the app? If so, you do lose your collected lives and boosters. King can only keep an account of your Gold as boosters and lives are stored on your device. Once you uninstall the app, those are gone.
Sorry, however, if you didn't uninstall, I would contact Player Support.

yes, that’s what everybody seems to be complaining about! That is just so tedious and stupid! Choose one name and send a life and then go back and do it again and again, and again, and again?? That is absolutely ridiculous. King games what are you thinking? We used to be able to tap once, and send lives to all our friends. What a freaking waste of time! This game just gets worse all the time. Seriously, considering not playing anymore. I used to like it. Used to be fun. Not anymore! Why would you make it so hard to send lives to friends?????

Candy Crush has clearly made a calculated decision taking away the option to send lives to friends. Capped us at 200 lives, then 20 per day. Not cool. If this option doesn't return, I'm going to uninstall Candy Crush altogether when I run out. Unimpressed and pissed customer of 12 years.

You're probably right about it not being a glitch. Trying to be optimistic, lol. Still no lives received again today. I've been sending them to my friends anyway, on the off chance they're getting through to them but it's unlikely. Hope they realise there's something wrong with the system and that it's not me!
