I used to really love playing candy crush, in fact it help me quit smoking. But the new and improved candy crush is horrible. My gold bars disappeared, the new lay out and tonight level didn't make any sense at all. Good bye Candy crush. you use to be fun not no more. The old saying if it isn't broke don't fix it.

Are you experiencing a glitch? I am not sure what you mean by new layout. Maybe you could send us a screenshot before you quit the game because of this.

The candle wasn't broken as a means of providing light, but I think we all appreciate electricity.
That aside I guess by 'new layout' you mean the fixed portrait mode. This change has been really unpopular and I wouldn't mind betting that it has cost King quite a few players. Personally I have only ever played in portrait mode, but I can fully understand why people that play on a PC do not like playing on such a small screen. Portrait mode is here to stay, so unfortunately if you can't get along with it the best thing to do is to stop playing.

Candy crush saga is getting so greedy all the levels are so hard you have to buy gold bars just to get through it! Been playing for years and never bought bars but seems like now you have to!

About the "new layout" - like others mentioned, it is a change that is going to stayπ
You said "tonight, your level didn't make any sense at all" --> Did your level board looked weird with some extra icons, and shapes??
If so, it is a glitch that has been occurring from yesterday!! The Candy studio is working on a fix. But, for now, only way to get out of this glitch is to exit from the level we are playing - close the App/game - wait for couple of minutes and reopen the App/game and retry the level. You will see that the weird candy is gone and everything is back to normal!
If this is not what you were experiencing, please give more details and a screenshot will help tooποΈ
You also said that your Gold Bars disappeared --> If you are sure that you did not spend them accidentally, I would advise you to contact the King Player Support. This link will take you to a form that needs to be filled out --> https://soporto.king.com/contact
