What is the point of taking away ads and having no way to get through a level? I have no desire to pay for playing this game. You are just making people delete your app. Seems counterintuitive to me!
Hi there and welcome to this community. Yes, this game is addictive and deliberately so. However if you find it frustrating rather than relaxing fun I would always recommend that you stop playing, for a while at least. Try to kick the habit..... Which level are you stuck on right now?
If I wasn't so addicted to this game I would definitely delete it and never look back. I've been playing for many years and in the past year you've come up with so many restrictions it's no longer relaxing but frustrating π thumbs down candy crush saga

The ads feature is not available to all players, it is one of many events that are tested and offered to different players around the world. You may have an event for awhile and then it will disappear but it should be replaced by something else and that event (like ads) may reappear sometime in the future.
As far as limiting lives, that was changed for all players several months ago, and even that was tested in several different versions.
I am sorry you feel frustrated- many players were upset with the change to the lives. The studio makes various tweaks to the game but they also try and ensure there are opportunities to win boosters and gold bars too (like the recent gold rush event).

Candy Crush, now they are limiting the amount of lives you can store. So ridiculous...They are hot and heavy on making you pay to play.
