Is it normal that the game offers me 60 moves for 10 bars?

If you replay a level and fail then the offer of extra moves for 10 gold goes up. Mine goes up to 125, I've heard some players being offered as much as 205 extra moves for 10 gold..... It's daft. As for the striped candies question I do not understand what you mean.
If you're needing 60+ extra moves to finish a level, then either the level is to difficult to pass in the allocated number of moves or the number of moves given is deliberately not enough so that players are faced with a choice of either paying the 10 gold bars to carry on playing and complete the level or wait until someone at the studio changes the level so it can be passed normally.
