How does this event actually work? I have just spotted it in my abandoned level 15,000 game when I was scrolling back to check out a level. So I played an older level for my "research" and when I passed this screen came up unexpectedly today.
Okay, I thought, this meagre competition looks too easy to miss and I played my favourite go to level a few times, but those blue candies never got added to my total. What is going on here? If ONLY new levels count, then where do the 3076 blues come from because I haven't played a new level for well over a week now, stopped at level 15,000. I don't get it.

@MonicaYellow I wish I had the race it will show the flag and disappear. I just ask about it today in the forum. No answer why as of yet.I would definitely play that instead if I had it. Good luck
I'll forgo this event, patiently saving my new episodes for Champions Race ....very intense competition here. Less than 4 hours from start of the event, I've played 2 episodes to be at 4th position, with no rewards.
Win 4 Champions Races will give me 180 gold bars, patience is the key.
I don't have this event, but the Adventure Path I recently got had the same timer IIRC.
It's worth noting that event (AP) disappeared later that day, never to return. Hope you guys don't suffer the same fate. This (GS) indeed looks a worthwhile event.
