I think they enjoy torturing us now…
It’s bad enough that some levels are impossible without gold bars, and are so frustrating that I wonder why I keep playing, but we have to deal with this nonsense. I need gold bars so I try my best to compete for them, but they dangle the competition race like a carrot that can never be attained. What garbage!!! So frustrating🤬 Argggggggghhh
@dashiellbrown I just sent pictures of this to support because mine is doing the same. Soon as you complete the level that's supposed to start the race it goes to another Start level over and over. They told me the usual make sure it's updated etc.. it finally just disappeared. It's horrible.

I thought you were having this issue because you did not have many levels to play! When I checked, there are +100 levels - no matter which device you are using!!
Let me report to our Candy Community In-charge and find out what could be the issue! But, you will have to wait till late Monday (US time) to hear back from me. All the Community team is off due to the weekend.

I am sorry to hear that you are also experiencing this same glitch☹️
Those “troubleshooting steps" in the email you have received is an automated email, and the tips work on simple issues like missing event, game crashing/freezing, etc.,
But, to be contacted by an actual agent, you will have to wait at least 3 days. And, if you have not received any reply even on the 5th day, send a reply to that automated email and someone will reach out to you.
Sorry! I do not know if you have ever contacted the Player Support! Hence, giving you all the steps I give to Newbies😊
What did you mean by flag went away? Did they sent an email saying "we are closing the ticket"?

Hi @PummyRaj I think what @cookiemae and @dashiellbrown are complaining about here is the fact that the episode race is malfunctioning at the highest levels. Note that both players are beyond level 15,000 and this issue is specific to the newly released levels. When I was playing new releases I got the episode race for the first of three new episodes, and then the second two there was none, which is one of many reasons I decided to stop playing at level 15,000. However I never saw the episode race flag then. The problem is that the flag denoting that there WILL be an episode race if you start playing the next episode, should not appear. It does sometimes though as some of the top players, notably @MonicaYellow have reported previously. This is a computing error by King programmers and cannot be fixed by reloading the game. Players are upset about this because many of the top players play to earn gold bars by winning the episode race and would rather choose to wait until the race becomes available. So quite rightly if they are dangling a carrot in front of players (the flag appears and even states the race will start but then it never does) and then not producing the promised reward is truly aggravating!

I have contacted Candy Crush before on more than one occasion, including one instance where after winning a hard-won battle for the competition race, I was not awarded my gold bars. All I ever got were automated messages asking for the same things, adding even more frustration. To add insult to injury, the last automated message asked if my issue had been resolved and how I rated the response. What a complete joke! No human has ever contacted me. (Yes, I DID reply to the automated emails and no one ever replied l to me)
I’m under no illusions that I’ll actually get a resolution. I guess at this point, the only thing I get out of this is to vent. I’m really getting fed up with this game. Usually by Thur I’m finished with all the new levels, and now it’s Sat, and I’m in the 2nd new episode without any real desire to play. The episodes are just ridiculous and a grind. I guess at some point I’ll just quit for good.
