Got no reward from event!

Hello, I contacted support but got nowhere with it so I’ll be writing it out here.

Last weekend I got back into Candy Crush and saw there is an event called Candy Royale. After reading about it I started to Play. I won over 14 games. To do it, I watched few adds and bought gold few times. But it was worth it because it showed me That I will win 334 Gold!!! I was 2/100 and I even got into the game 5 minutes before the event’s end to check that I’m still second. I was. The even ended but I got no reward. I didn’t get my 334 Gold I was promised! And I even spent my money to not lose my win streak. So it’s really unfair! Either you give me the prize I was promised or I want a refund on the gold I bought!

Thank you so much. I did play more than 14 levels. Actually at first I played 18 games which I all won and but I still was second in the event so I pushed my luck again but I lost the 19th game and then I started again but the games got little harder and that’s why I bought gold and only stopped at 16 wins. Hopefully those screenshots(they even have dates and times) help me even tho I only took them to challenge my sister :) But thank you for shining light on my situation!

There was a glitch in the event. I do think you should try to contact Player Support again. They really do owe you something. Yes, I agree it's all a bit misleading. If you think you played 14 levels then something did go wrong in your game. This game is full of glitches. It's really not worth spending money on, I'm sad to say.

I Suppouse you are right but it told me I will win. Like the pop up. “Your cut as of now” implies I will receive it tho! Why does it even say that if there’s actually some other criteria? It said I needed to win 14 games without losing any, I won 16 with little help of me buying gold but I thought I’ll make it all back because the pop up told me so :(( . Why is it advertised like this? It’s just wrong.

Hi there. I fear that your screenshot looks to me as though you just failed to finish the event before time ran out. Candy Royale is totally different to those events with a leaderboard where indeed, if you let the time run out you will get the prize.

In Candy Royale you have to finish ALL the levels, on your first try, until you reach the cup and you get the message that you have won the jackpot. "Share" means nothing in Candy Royale, it is a marketing trick to encourage players to keep going and spend money. It's just an idea of what you WOULD get if you finished the all the levels. You get nothing until you have completed all the levels, and you must have been just one level short of winning. So tragic! I am really so sorry you misunderstood how this event works, but I'm just another player and I can't give you any compensation. I think maybe if you contact player support they might give you something for your troubles, so it might well be worth a try. Contact them from within the App (via Settings, then the ? icon) as that way they will automatically know who you are, and they know you spent money, so they should be kind to you and maybe give you the gold bars. Reply to the first automated email they send you and send them your screenshot and explanation.

If you do get this event again, look out for the cup on your main game map. It will show you the level to which you have to get (without failing, so on your first attempt) to get the prize. I just got it in my game, so this is the screenshot which shows where the cup is that I need to reach. It's halfway down the page on the right. That is the level I need to pass without failing to get my share.
