I'm sure others have had this in the past. I've just got it, not going to play though, as it doesn't say how many levels, could be a ridiculous amount. Does anyone know the answer?

@MannyFae My base Candy Royale alternates between 8 and 9 levels, and the Double Royale was 16 or 18, but now it is always 14. Apparently, they capped it at 14.
I hope you are right MannyFae. For a long time my base Candy Royale has been 7, but last week they changed it to 8 on Thursday and then they gave me a Double Royale of 16 over the weekend. Annoyingly it changed back to 7 on Monday. I haven't played this weekend but I noticed that my Candy Royale has once again changed to 8 levels just before the weekend.
I remember reading your thread in Support section, and I'm glad you received your reward, @Carol-38 🙂
Same for me, I never had more than 14 levels to play for double CR. Last week, "they" tried a 10 level Candy Royale on me. Since I did not move a finger during the whole time it was on, "they" finally went back to the normal 7 level CR last week-end.😂
Thanks @Alienscar I understand now from everyone's replies. Candy Royale isn't something I tend to get and when I have it's always stated how many levels. It was the fact that the pop up didn't that confused me. Guess if I'd played it I would then have seen how many. It's disappeared now so no choice to be made, which suits me.
Thanks @MannyFae, I've only ever had a few Candy Royale's, the last not working properly so QueenB sorted that and got me some gold, which was really helpful. The one I got yesterday has disappeared now so that's saved me from trying to pass up to 14 levels on the 1st try 🥹

I clicked on "play now" when it popped up earlier, but then nothing happened. Usually I don't have any issues with CR, so I'm lost on what happened today.

The pop-up doesn't state how many levels because there are different versions of the Candy Royale. The versions being 7, 8 and 9 levels
Hi Carol, I didn’t get the pop up message like you did but my CR is now also 14 levels for a share of 1000!! 😭I don’t know why CR always pops up when I’m playing hard levels 😆

I also got double candy royale today. In my game, it is requested to play the double of a normal 7 level Candy Royale ie 14 levels as you can in the screen shot below.
I've just had the pop-up advertising double candy royale, but when I pressed on it and went to then play a level nothing happened and there is now no sign of Candy Royale. I have had this before, and then the event turned up a few levels later into the next episode. You should see the trophy at the as yet empty level where you need to get to in CandyRoyale, so that will give you an indication how many levels you need to pass. I only got the double event once, and made a handy 120 gold.
At first, I usually get a generic pop up like the one you posted, with no level requirement indication. When Candy Royale becomes available, it shows pop up with level amount:
Hi @MannyFae but did the card tell you on those occasions how many levels where required. I've had Candy Royale and Double Candy Royale in the past and it always stipulated the amount. This one just says 'Pass more levels' now that I don't trust. Can you remember if yours always said how many?
Hi @Carol-38 It's 14 levels for me right now. Last time around I also played 14 levels, but in the past I had to play 16 or even 18.
Hi @Rhonda_L I know exactly what you mean that's why I changed my tactics long before reaching15000. I don't start an Episode unless I think I have enough to clear it. And that is why the 'Race' is so important to have, which has been missing a lot lately. Other posts showing that.
My question on this one though about the Double Candy Royale is 'how many levels' to pass as it doesn't say.
Keep building up your boosters Rhonda and hope we get another Pot of Gold soon, that will help a bit.

@Carol-38 I've just recently got back Candy Royale. 7 levels for a share of 500 Gold. There's no way I can do it being @Carol-38
as I'm at 14761. There's no way I can pass 7 levels in row at this level on the first try.
It is what it is. I just click on the play for Candy Royale knowing I'm not going to win it.
Heck, I'm not even playing much anymore. Only enough to build up my boosters. I'll need them to get through this next Episode.
