Hmm, thank you very much for the positive input Baz. I thought the bombs were there for a good reason. Appreciate your helpIt's actually very easy if you know the trick (and get the luck, of course). Don't release the bombs until there are just 8 goes left but make sure you have at least one colour bomb in waiting (if you're lucky enough to have two then you can probably start celebrating already!) When you've released the bombs make one or two matches to get the bombs further down the board then use the colour bomb on whatever candy that will clear the most bombs. This should boost your score by a huge amount. If you can clear any remaining of the bombs first released that will probably get you home.
