In Candy Crush Saga how do you make the ice hourglass explode?
I have searched the entire site, and cannot find an answer on how to make the ice hourglass explode. I'm on level 1434 and there are three of them. I've had them in other levels, but have never figured out what makes them explode. When new things are introduced in game play there should be an explanation.

Oh Becky, I loathe these mixers! You have to hit them at least 3 times (if you start hitting them at the first stage of mixing), by either making combinations above them or once you break through the bottom, getting candies to hit against the side of them with your move. Or a color bomb and a stripe or package will get through them. You have to keep hitting them before they have time to wind back up!

You can use your Lollipop Hammer Booster. as well. Just line it over the Mixer & smack it. Repeat until it`s gone.
Bad news is that these Mixers`are with you now for ever. I am on Level 2165 waiting for the next offerings & these Mixers still crop up frequently. In the later games, you have to hit them up to 5 times, but a Lollipop Hammer always works, as long as you have enough of them.

You're welcome Becky, yeah, you'd have to use 5 or 6 lollipop hammers. I hate those mixers! Just get some combos. Oh, if you're playing on a tablet, well at least on mine, you can go back out if you don't like the setup on the board and not lose any lives. I'm not sure what you are playing on, but on my tablet, if I don't like what is setup, I can back out of it without losing a life and go back in until I see a nice setup on the board. Now with my phone or laptop on the other hand, I do lose a life if I try that. Good luck, you'll get there!Oh Becky, I loathe these mixers!
