Unable to go forward from Level 1355

I have completed Level 1355 at least 3 times. However, it will not allow me to progress to the next level despite having 3 stars. In addition, every time I try again, it gives me a greatly increased points score to chase. The last time it set me a target of 100002 and this time it is 173420.

Thank you for contacting King Care! It sounds like you need to update your game since it's going into the next episode. The only reason the number increases is because it'll challenge you to beat your last score but they usually round up. You'll still win the level as long as you get the required minimum score anyway.
Can you check your play store to see if you need an update?

Hi Jilly, this doesn't really solve my problem as I play on Facebook and cannot see a way to update the game. The appearance and functionality of my Candy Crush also differs from other family members who have profiles on the same family computer. My wife and a daughter have the classic look whilst I and another daughter have the new look.Hi Mickey,
