Progress Lost or not reported for challenges

For the past four weeks any challenges on Candy Crush Saga no longer pays out winnings if I am a top person (striped candy challenge or star challenge). Further, at the end of the challenge, nothing even shows up regarding the end results. The daily treat (sorry if that isn't the correct title, going by memory) is stuck on opening Day 1 every day, or if I play a second time later in the day it will again open Day 1 or sometimes Day 2. Now with the new challenge of "baking" for the dinosaur, any progress ends if I close out the game. I decided to leave the game open to see if I could finish it this morning, and instead when the page refreshed, all progress was wiped out at stage 6/7.

I understand King adding challenges to keep everything fresh and new, but with not being able to show any completion, the purpose is defeated. I've made sure my browser allows cookies for the game, but the results are the same.

Hi Melissa, sorry for the delay in responding but there are loads of glitches to respond to. Let's see if I can help you with some of your issues.
Regarding the challenges such as the striped or star you have to remain at the top 3 levels when the challenge ends. And I mean stay at the top because I was playing the striped challenge this week and I was over 1000 more stripes than both the second and third person. The challenge was ending in a couple of hours and it was after 11:00 PM so I felt confident with over 1000 more stripes that I'd be the winner. Not so! When I woke up the next morning I was down to #3. The person at #2 was 6 stripes ahead of me and #1 must have continued playing until the last second to have gotten way more than 1000 stripes to beat me. So could this be what has happened to you? You have to wait until the last couple of seconds and the game ending to find out the three top winners.
Regarding the daily calendar being stuck on day one I have seen that happen to other fans too. I have found the perfect solution for you to collect much more than just the one stripped and wrapped candy combo. Have you tried the sugar drop challenge yet? You can get up to 13 free boosters every 8 hours. I do both of these daily and have collected up to 26 free boosters so I don't get upset if it's only stuck on day one.
Regarding Didi and the baking that was a glitch challenge. A lot of fans reported the same thing but what upset me more than the progress ending was the fact that I had to wait longer periods between collecting each group of the same color candy. That's why I wasn't frustrated as you because I did the sugar drop challenge instead. Here is a link to read more about the sugar drops:

Hi Elsa,No, that wasn't what I was experiencing with the striped candy challenge. In fact, I never even found out how I ranked at the end of that or the star challenge. It was just gone the day after it ended, when typically the results stayed around for at least a day.I believe the answer was that I needed to clear my cache. After doing this (after writing about my issues), the volume and sounds stopped automatically coming back on when I always keep it off, the challenges now report, and the daily treat is progressing. As for as the dino egg challenge, that is over so I'm not sure. But next time I find that the volumes and sounds won't turn off, I know it will be a clue for me to clear cache.
