I have been offered a candy crush gift card for Christmas. In order to activate it I had to log in into my Candy Crush account through an internet browser. Because it has been a long time since I connected my account I forgot my password so I reset it. I managed to activate my gift card. But after that, impossible for me to connect to my account within the Candy Crush app, I am getting an error message: "There was a connection error. Try again in a bit". It has been like this for 3 days now. My phone is an iPhone 13 pro with iOS 17.1.2. I tried to troubleshoot it by:
- Restarting the app
- Restarting the phone
- Connect only the wifi and disable cellular data
- Connect only through cellular data but not through wifi
- The game's server are not down
- Reseting a new password
- Clear the cache app
- Connecting through the internet browser again (failure with error message: "We're having trouble logging you in with the provided credentials. Please double-check and retry. If the issue continues, try using the Forgot Password option.")
- Tried with different wifi routers (from different places)
I don't want to uninstall the app due to my offline progression that will be lost.
For information:
- I am not connecting through any VPN.
- My iOS is up to date
- The Candy Crush app is up to date
