Same here @hilhanes after a day and a half of no Candy Royale it reappeared on Monday.
I spoke too soon ๐. The X is gone this morning I'm so sick of this.
Oh my goodness! Really?! I have given up trying to play candy crush due to candy royale. I do periodically check here to see if anything has changed, and Iโm so happy to hear this. Iโm going to go check my game and see if I have the X to opt out.
Good to hear, I do the Royal but I disliked the idea that you could not op out.
I think you might be right @hilhanes I clicked on a Candy Royale message that had a X on it and didn't think anything of it because I had seen similar pop-ups before. The message I have seen with an X isn't the one that starts the Royale looking for 99 players it is some kind of 'Get Ready To Play' which I have always though a bit odd.
Anyway today the Royale message with an X appeared earlier and I just selected it without really looking and now the Candy Royale has gone from my Events.
