Thanks for the mention Rhonda @Rhonda_L like you I pop in every now and again, for me, when time allows. And again like you there is no way I would keep scrolling back to lower levels to check them out for those in need of help, which is a shame. But it's just too time consuming and uncomfortable. Another reason to mention a scroll down feature @QueenB ๐๐
Just goes to show how much gold bars are needed now to be offered the chance of getting 200 every month. But I definitely won't be getting them. Good job there are so many others in the Community who already help and are good at it ๐
@Carol-38 @christinewupp I created an idea to add a search box to the Saga game a couple of years ago HERE. The studio never implemented it and it has over 900 votes. It's sad with so many levels in the game and they don't think it's a priority. Yet Farm Heroes and Candy Crush Friends have both put that into their games. Really sad but such is life!
I know you did @_Elsa_ and that was 5 years ago - how time flies - and that was when we had just over 4000 levels and on the easier to scroll map. Now we have over 16000 levels a newer management and a horrible to scroll map. Will it ever happen - who knows - but I will keep on asking ๐
@Carol-38 I'll keep on begging as well. It's never going to happen. We both know it. Because we want it/need it, we're only players and our opinions don't matter to King/Microsoft.
It's been years we've been asking for a 'go-to' button. I'm not a techy, but it'd be soooo easy for them to do. Oh well, is what it is!
Good luck Crushin' to everyone!
It's actually quite complex to add this feature, imagine providing 16000 links and the certainty for millions of devices to work properly. How busy would support be if a link to level 200 took you to 4327. Then what? If it were a simple task it would have been completed by now, which then explains why they are in the lower level games. (not as many "links") to set up. simplifies the oversight of the function. points to ponder ๐โจ๐โจ๐โจ๐โจ
@Ibnana I get what you're saying, but respectfully, I don't agree. If King, now Microsoft, wanted to do it, they can, in a heartbeat! They don't care to.
They put out all these ridiculous side games that many at the high levels can't play. (Gold Rush, 60 New Levels, Crowns...WT*)!
They'd certainly be able to add a 'go-to level ' in less than a minute. Really?
@Carol-38 , agree or disagree?
I have put in the past @Rhonda_L @Ibnana however they want to do it. We have the tab to take us up to the level we are currently on. So would it be that difficult to do a down arrow/tab to take us back to level 1. I'm not saying that is ideal but scrolling from 16000+ to a level in the 1000's, 2000's, 3000's etc is ridiculous. So at least if we had an arrow to take us to the start (level 1) as well as, to the level we are currently on it would be a help ๐ In January 2023 when QueenB posted about the horrible new Saga map she also put that they were considering a scroll feature. So it is something they have thought about, that's why I keep going on about it ๐
As a professional player in the gaming industry, conquering all levels in Soda involves surpassing my graphic design background and even outperforming four family members in the IT sector... It's definitely no easy feat.
However, if the go-to feature were their main focus, I'm confident it could be achieved. I strongly believe that creating new levels for experienced players should take precedence. With my insights into the gaming world, I can confirm that some requests, though important, may not be the highest priority. Having a "go-to" feature is pointless if advanced players leave due to a lack of new levels. Look past the inconvenience of scrolling and try to understand the perspective of the designers for a moment to show appreciation. points to ponder
Thank you for sharing!! New information is always helpful, I feel confident that some semblance of this feature will be available soon. We all just need to practice our patience a bit more. Don't hush it up, but we don't have to go on, on and on beating the subject into the ground.
I wish that your thoughts of keep asking does bring this to light. Unfortunately, when I spoke to the old CM years ago about this he said that he kept bringing it up to the studio but nothing was happening. I don't play the game that much anymore so to me, personally, it wouldn't make a difference one way or the other. Sad huh?
