As players, we cannot delete our Community accounts, but only Community Managers can! I will definitely be able to request our CMs to delete your account.
But first, a question! In your opening post, you said “I have zero clue on what to do with the Community account”! If we assist you / point you towards certain discussions and ways to earn Gold Bars for your game, would you be willing to stay?

I think you need a moderator to delete the account for you @ATait . I'll try to tag @PummyRaj for this. If that does not work, then I would suggest you create you own thread by posting your request as a Question in the Support forum, where one of the moderators will definitely reply to you.
Hello, thank you for getting back to me. I’ve tried repeatedly but all I get is ‘edit profile’ and there is no option to delete my account on that page. If I’m missing something please say, it would be really helpful if there was simply an option at the bottom of the page that said ‘delete account’

If you click on your picture icon top right on this page
When the next page opens up click on your picture icon again above your name it will open up to a 3rd
Click on the person icon with the down arrow it is there you can delete your account.....hope this helps
