What's going on with L10948?

Firstly, I cannot understand how this is supposed to work. I have been working on it for quite some time and my mind is boggled.

Secondly, the keys that are partially covered in jelly don't seem to work right with each other. Then sometimes you gotta mix them with a different colour i.e. red with orange.

Lastly, after watching some YouTube vids about this level, I'm even more confused. I don't understand why they make certain moves when there are far better moves.🤯 🆘 🥴
