Dynamic Duo

Hello! Is Dynamic Duo not working at all? I've been paired with 3 different people and we've consistently passed the challenges but are not awarded the win or prizes. It's frustrating!

Hi @Mummysmiff, are you saying that when you open the game you are now back to level 1? If so, don't fret because King can get you back on track. Sadly, we cannot restore progress in the community due to data protection issues. Please follow the steps on here to help you get your progress back.

Wow wow. I am at 4311 with help of Dynmic Duo and if it happens to me, I am Done with Candy Crush Saga

Well done. We got up to 40 something and then all the problems started!! Back down to level 1! Feeling a little frustrated with the game right now!

I'm one of the few (I guess) people who actually don't mind the Dynamic Duo. :-) I've had the same buddy since the beginning; we have never lost a challenge, and are at win streak 71 now. There have been a couple of problems along the way with the challenge not loading etc. but generally it's been fine. It got a lot better once you were allowed to help your buddy (I think this was not possible in the beginning). Sometimes both of us do our part of the challenge, sometimes only one of us does both parts so we both win.

Hi @critter, Dynamic Duo is an event where they choose a buddy for you and then you are both assigned to collect something. It's not working properly at the moment. Actually most of the events and challenges are having problems lately so I think the studio is taking them off for a fix.

what is dynamic duo. how do you activate this it?

Elsa: you got me wondering too after I read your comments. So I enabled my DD and I hold and behold I got a new DD now. Better than what I had. I better not mess around with this DD thing before I get myself all screwed up

So now you have me wondering if I should disable it too.

Hi @Bernadine, there was a problem about a month ago with the Dynamic Duo. When you clicked on it, new levels opened up that weren't released yet. Because of that a lot of us are having problems syncing across all platforms. No disabling on your laptop isn't going to change your levels. It should be at 4280 right now. I just checked my Windows 10. I am not moving forward with the DD again. I have 2 iPads, a phone and a desktop computer and they are all at different levels. I have to wait for all of them to catch up. When did you do episode 286? I was told by the community manager that the highest level that you are at will eventually sync so you don't have to replay them on your laptop. I was playing it on my phone and that got so advanced a couple of weeks ago so last week I didn't play on my phone at all and now I think I'm at the correct level on Windows 10. The mobile devices are always behind and last week they didn't release a new episode so the highest level is 4220.

Before you leave, you can always go to king.com and log in and see if it syncs from there.

Good to hear that!! I am going on vacation for awhile and of course I am taking my laptop so I can continue playing my candy crush. On my desk top I just completed episode 286 (4266-4280). Now, on my laptop, the episode is 285 (4251-4265). How would episode 286 be advanced on my laptop? Do I disable the DD on my laptop so that Episode 286 can be advanced tomorrow and would the points/scored be synced with the completed espisode from my desktop. Am I making sense?

Hi Bernadine, yes you should have no problem getting the new episode. The two are not connected at all.

Elsa: I am not too happy of having this dynamic duo (DD) so I have a question. If I disable this DD, would I get the new episode on Wednesday, the normal day of being release by King.com?

Hi @Bamasusan, there are so many issues going on back and forth with these challenges. I can't keep track of them so I wonder how the studio is doing it! I just opened my game and it's ready for the next Dynamic Duo challenge. Check because you might now have it too.

I had a dynamic duo win streak of 41 yesterday. The new challenge was supposed to start today. When I went to play it said we didn’t make the challenge and had to start over. What happened? I didn’t miss anything.

Dang, I was hoping I would get my new episode (285) on my desktop, but evidentally, the Dynamic Duo is still there. Oh, how I wish it would go away. Also, haven't seen Didi yet. What's up with her?

Hi Elsa, no Didi isn't out yet. For me, it usually comes out late in the afternoon.

I forgot to check! Is Didi out today?

Thank you Elsa for your fast response. Yes, I agree with you; the Dynamic Duo has surely created a mess. I guess I will wait until Wednesday and see what will happen. At the meantime I might as well keep on collecting boosters from the daily spin, Didi, treat calendar, etc. until things get fixed. Again thank you.
