This is the second time this week I was close to getting 30 gold bars by completing new levels, then all of a sudden it reduces to 10. Time was not up, there was a few hours left, but the chocolate box changed. I contacted support, but instead of answering said to check this page.

Oh no, how unfair! It sounds like the problem players used to get with Candy Royale switching from the 1500 gold to the 500 gold version on a Monday morning. I also had the special 30 gold offer going and was going to finish it this morning. Damn!
So as yet this is how it looks in my game:
I guess I'll play a few levels and check if mine changes too.

Well at least, thanks to you @Roxyt80 I managed to catch them live at their dirty tricks!
How to resolve it? I guess we'll have to learn our lesson like we did with triple Candy Royale: Don't trust Monday mornings, 9am UK time every weekend offer just goes off into thin air.
This was actually a X3 bonus Gold Bars event for last weekend. It changed from 10 to 30 Gold Bars on Friday and reverted back to the normal 10 Gold Bars on Monday. You may have even noticed the timer changed to 24 hours during the weekend instead of the normal 2/3 days. Nice bonus but it was only for the weekend unfortunately đ
I started getting the 30 gold bars on May 2. After playing for 4 days, I got a pop-up message about "Limited time X2 Chocolate Box" on May 5, Sunday. I thought I will be getting 60 gold bars đ , but no, I was still getting the 30 gold bars.
Then on May 6, Monday, I manage to get the 30 gold bars for the last time and it dropped to 20 till today.
