The new upgrade to the booster wheel is not good, it has been working fine until today, I click on it , follow the instructions and it's not there , it's just the candy crush shop..
I just started the game today and I do dnot see the Booster Wheel. It is not under events or anywhere else that I have looked. Thank you.

We have detected an issue which we have corrected so please restart the game app (it might take a couple of times) and see if your Booster Wheel appears back under the Event tab.
Let us know if you still have issues after restarting the app a couple of times.

I too saw that in my game for about a week! And then, it became normal! Now, the Booster Wheel is working fine. I am not sure why though!!
I will ask our Community In-charge and see if they are aware about it. Please bear with me till tomorrow (at least for 12 more hours)!!
