any help please? I can’t even get close to finishing this level. It’s so boring trying over and over again and not getting anywhere.

Thank you for your thoughtful replies but I think I have followed these guidelines for more than a hundred times and am getting nowhere. What is the point? I think these kind of levels require you to spend money to pass, or cheat with extra moves, and then the point of the game has gone.
Hello @Diane_Skidmore I did just pass this level on my 10th attempt using all three starting boosters. It seems counter-intuitive to play the lucky candy booster, but I found that on my first 9 attempts when I played just colour bomb and wrap/stripe boosters, even if I got close, there was always one of the black wraps that would not pop at all. So after I got quite close on one attempt I played all three starting boosters on my next attempt and this is how I passed:
I tried to use any opportunity to create wrapped candies as these have the most impact. A wrap/colour bomb would be best, but here on the board above I choose to move the blue lucky candy up to create a two wrap combo, which you see below. That has a big impact.
Matching the two wrapped gives this:
I matched the three orange candies to the right and then the blues with the wrap at the bottom left. And continued to play any move that might allow a special candy to drop or be created, failing that hitting one or two of the frosting.
The benefit of playing lucky candy in this level is that the colour bombs that come out of the wraps can then be used to create a combo with wrap, stripe or another colour bomb if you are lucky. By this point I get such a combo:
This colour bomb/stripe combo is quite helpful as it created a double colour bomb combo. Plus the purple striped will hit across the middle at the same time. This looks like my lucky break.
If I now match the 4 orange on the left I have a wrap/stripe combo which will hit the wraps on either side and the top. A wrap also drops from the dispenser as well:
So playing that wrap/stripe combo wins the level.
I am not sure if the game will give you a lucky board like mine if you don't play any starting boosters on this level. But I hope this gives you some idea of how to tackle this level. Try to watch out for any opportunity to create strong combos of special candies. If you don't have any gold or starting boosters then a lot of patience will be required.

Try following tips
Study your board before starting! What is the objective? What is your first priority? Is there something you need to look out for?
Save your special candies for the biggest impact! But be careful not to save them for too long.
Make your moves count, and keep track of how many you have left! Sometimes it's more important to damage blockers than to line up for a special candy.
To increase your chances of helpful cascades, try to make matches along the bottom of the game board!
Candy Bombs can be distracting! Keep an eye on them, but make sure to keep the objective of the level in mind too.
Chocolate is tasty but can be tricky to deal with. If the level has few colors it's usually quite easy to clear, but for levels with more colors, it can be very risky to let it grow too much!
Destroying licorice swirls on the board will pause the spawning for one turn. This can be helpful to clear the board, but also risky if you need to gather many of them!
If you pay extra attention you can figure out when your next striped candy, wrapped candy, or a Color Bomb will spawn from the cannons! They always spawn in a pre-set pattern. The pattern, however, differs from level to level.
Ingredient levels sometimes don't require you to remove all blockers, focus on the path down to the collector!
Damaging a magic mixer will cause it to pause charging up for that turn, this can be helpful in delaying the magic mixer to spawn in blockers, but can also be bad if you need the blocker that is being spawned in for an order!
When the level requires you to spawn in keys, blockers, or ingredients from the candy cannons it's always a good idea to make matches underneath these, to make space for the thing you need to spawn in!
When playing a level with Samantha the frog, make sure that you plan out your jumps well! You don't accidentally want her to get stuck somewhere where she can't recharge.
Cake bombs activate a party popper that damages all tiles once! This can be very helpful to open a level up, so focusing on the cake first can be your best bet at clearing a level.
Hard levels often contain lots of blockers with many layers! These levels are where you really have to focus and try to make special candy combinations! Matching a color bomb with a striped or wrapped candy can make a hard level much easier!
Finally, don't give up! Some levels are very tricky, and you might need quite a few tries to pass it, but we believe in you!
