I have a question. When I run out if the five lives, how come I can’t use the ones I have accumulated?

Candy Crush Saga team changed few features in the game and a limit on how many lives we can collect in a day is one of those changes!!
If you have collected 20 lives in a day, no matter how many lives you have stored, you will not be able to collect anymore lives until 12:00 am of the day (or until the timer turns to 00:00:00).

I have accumulated several lives but when I use up the five, how come I can’t use those lives instead of purchasing more gold bars?

Hello @kcaise if you are seeing 20/20 that doesn't mean you have accumulated 20 lives that just means you haven't used any of your daily allowance.
The number of lives you have accumulated for use after you have used the five lives is shown as 200/200 (or similar). If you see 0/200 this means you do not have any lives to use.
can you post a screenshot of your lives inbox please.
