What is the point of this after watching adverts for a free UFO?

I haven't been getting adverts before now, so am quite new to getting to watch ads for extra moves plus a free UFO. However, today I've been getting this screen which I find really confusing and to me it looks like a deliberate way to trick players to spend gold bars by mistake. What else could be the point of this?

Do you get this in your game @Alienscar or anyone else? As you can see I gained 7 extra moves plus a free UFO to help pass the level (more than I needed, of course), so what would be the point of spending 19 gold on another UFO? Surely this can only be to trick players up.

No I haven't seen that yet Christine. And yes seems like another trick for players to unwittingly use their gold. Sometimes if we're playing too fast, it's easy just to tap on a play button. Another reason to concentrate and play slow, what next 🫣

Yeah, I got the same impression about tricking players to accidentally buy more stuff with gold bars or even real money if one doesn’t have any gold in stock. It’s like instead of watching ads then buying more stuff later if you can’t still pass, now you have an option to buy right there and still have an option to pay more for extra moves later. The number of extra moves to buy increased as usual.

I reminded myself to be careful each time.

Thanks for the input, and as always the colour green for buying stuff, red for not buying stuff. It's just the wrong way round in Candy Crush, compared to everywhere else I know. If this game was fair and not tricking players then there would be a "confirm" button when you inadvertently press the green button. Fortunately, for me at least, I do get asked to confirm for any purchases using real money, but that of course is not up to King but Apple.

Hi @christinewupp no I haven't seen that offer in my game. I just receive the 4+2+UFO version.

I agree that what you have seems like a disgusting attempt by King to trick people into unnecessarily spending gold bars.
