I think they should allow any extra moves that you don't use when purchasing them on the next level. For example, if you just need one more move to beat the level, but you ran out and decide to purchase more and it gives you like 250 additional moves, the other 249 you don't use should roll over to the next level...or make it so you can purchase per move...like $.05 per move or something like that. I also think they shouldn't force you to participate in the contests if you don't want to participate. For example, the Royal Match...where you beat levels with one life to win a portion of gold bars. I hardly ever get past one level in one life, much less 8, so I don't always want to compete.
Hello @AmyLMc75 and welcome to the community!
. In the days when we were only ever getting a maximum of 5 extra moves for paying gold to play on I might have agreed with you on this. But those days are long gone, when there was still some randomness in the candies that dropped and some skill and clever gameplay involved in solving a board.
Nowadays Candy Crush is so obviously fixed, the game will leave you that one move short, again and again, regardless of what moves you make. The game deliberately leaves players needing to pay for extra moves. Then the game deliberately offers the player more and more moves to drive us to pay to play on, like a two year old toddler first begging, then nagging, then screaming the supermarket down to get you to buy her that chocolate bar. The 120 or 250 or whatever extra moves are a pay-to-pass offer and of course that means that we don't actually pay for the extra moves, we pay to pass. Just like the screaming toddler in the supermarket you don't buy her the chocolate as nourishment, you buy it shut her up!
