Why are matches sometimes generating the wrong candy?
While it is nearly impossible to SS, I have seen multiple times where a line of four candies generates a wrapped candy and not a striped one. This also can see to generate a colour bomb at times.
Other matches seem to act normally.
While it is nearly impossible to SS,
Can't you just SS the before and after condition @SubstitutePyrolight. That is, SS the four candy in a row before you match them and then SS the result. I appreciate this will generate a lot of SS as I guess you can't know when the match is going to go wrong.
I must admit I would have thought that being a programmer that you would have access to a screen recording app.
In fact as a Windows user why aren't you using the screen recording capabilities of the Snipping Tool, or the Xbox Game Bar.
Naw screen recording tools are a support staff thing. Only time we record is meetings and rarely.
As for the Xbox Game Bar, Mircosoft already trying to get far more telemetry data than they should haha.
I will have to try and get a SS when I suspect it might happen.
Ya but that would be a very specific situation where moving a candy will make a wrapped or striped depending on how it is positioned. This happens where that would not happen.
I do have a theory. The game is simply generating a wrapped/bomb from the "good move" and instead of what you expect you get something else, maybe.
Yes @SubstitutePyrolight , it happened to me to face this specific situation and I also have learned how to create a striped or wrapped candy, according to my needs, avoiding the "accidental" creation of the opposite candy!
Your theory of the "good move" is interesting! We had a similar theory when we were playing the Jelly Royal Championship, a player vs player side game! According to this theory, the player who did a "good move" had as a reward advantageous candydropping!
