Why do some people have more moves for a level than others?

Question

I am completely stuck on level 1961 and I start with 20 moves.
i looked online for hints and tips on how to complete level and saw some people got to start with 36 moves.
This level seems impossible and I am going to stop playing as I have lost patience

Hi @lottsey, you are now in the right community. The reason why you see more moves available on the videos is because the videos are outdated.  The video
creators make them when the levels are first released.  The studio
monitors all levels when they are released and they check to see how many
players clear a specific level and how long it takes for them to clear
it.  If it's too easy or too difficult they will "tweak" the
levels a bit.  The video creators can't keep up with the studio changes so
you are still only seeing the first video release.

Here is a tip from somone who is very good at writing tips.  I don't know how many moves she completed it with but she can give you an idea of what to move.  You might want to hold on to her link for future levels.

Hi @lottsey Welcome to the Candy Crush Friends Community :) The Game Studios are constantly working on improving our games by introducing new features, gameplay or concepts.

They closely monitor a game's difficulty, listen to player feedback about certain levels or features and, at times, may decide to tweak certain aspects to enhance the player experience.

This can sometimes mean that videos available online do not reflect the current in-game content.

If the level in the video is different to the one you have in the game then please go to back to the YouTube search page, select Filter and then choose Upload Date, to see the most recent videos.

I will ask that this be moved to the Candy Crush Saga Community so that members who play may be able to see this post and suggest tips for beating the level.
