Help! I cannot connect to Facebook on PC! (Candy Crush Saga)

Recently I was playing on my PC and went out of lives as usual. I then tried ask friends for lives, but the game couldn't seem to find any of my friends like it was disconnected.

So I went to my browser settings and cleared browsing history and caches.

When I came back to facebook and entered the game it was still not connected to my facebook account and started at level 1 instead of level 1203 where I was at last time.

The browser was google chrome.

I tried relogging facebook and rebooting, but neither worked.

However the game seems to work fine on my mobile, but I really want to play it on my big screen PC while at home.

Please help!

I can't connect Facebook either. There is no desktop option. And I can't change my profile picture when logged into mobile app through my Facebook account. The photo is from 4 years ago and I've been through many phones since. I cleared the cache deleted app reinstalled it even made sure my Facebook app settings were properly set. I have a Galaxy Samsung Note 20
