Lives accepted from friends, but not given

For the past two weeks, every time I use the lives given from friends, it has been a crap shoot on whether or not I will get them. I go to the mail section, click on two or three lives that were given to me by friends, hit accept and they 'grey out', but when I go back to the map, I have no lives. I'm about to break past level 4000, but this has been a big stumbling block. I hate to buy anything because I cannot be sure things that are given to me will be available for use. I tried to email support, and they send me to a message board???
I'm on a droid phone, with all updates. This has just recently become an issue, I never had problems before. I'm at risk now of losing my Daily Win bonus and my Friend Bonus.
Any ideas?

Well...I can send screen shots if needed. I have no idea why this is happening, but these are not answers

Joseph, I am playing directly through the app on my phone. I do not even have a Facebook, so that could not even be possible. I have an LG G7 phone and I just tried again before checking this post. I clicked on 4 lives from friends, watched the check mark for accepted show up, and when I went to the map, I had only 2 lives.

Are you playing through Facebook or Kingdom? If you are playing through Facebook, this an issue that is occurring through Facebook. Don’t worry though! Facebook is well aware, and is working on it.

Welcome to our amazing community @IronBlade! This is very strange! This must be a new bug that is starting to occur in the game. I will report this to a manager to see if a detailed explanation can be provided.

End game directly once moves running out, I cannot use the gold to buy more moves to clear level suddenly. Thanks
