This person has won more levels in a week than they are currently playing at. I was #1 for the entire week, but just the last hour or so this person appears out of nowhere. It’s impossible to pass this many levels in just a few days! This takes the fun away from playing this came fair and square.

Hello @zonnekind and welcome to the community. This kind of occurrence has been reported several times before and appears to be a glitch in the Weekly Race event. There are ongoing problems with this event and with the player cards.
What we think may happen is that if a player starts a brand new game and plays without saving but at a later time logs into their existing game with this previously unsaved game, then the "levels passed" on their player card get counted into the old account and merge for that week. In fact during the Candy Cup I saw this happen to my own game. This is how these kind of scores come about. The error lies with King, not with this player.
Is he cheating? No, not really, because as yet King have not stopped us from using this method to enjoy the game and it does not break any rules. In fact there is a rule that we are not allowed "more than one King account per platform" so the exact opposite is true: To enjoy the game at lower levels we have to start new games without creating a new account and then save them into our existing account. Why do I say this? Because to many of us our original game is no longer enjoyable, King have ruined the game for anyone who has run out of boosters and gold, so more and more of us are choosing to play again from the beginning.
This player may be unaware of the glitch and they most certainly are not merging their account deliberately to beat you or anyone in the weekly race. The prize for this is insignificant and they probably do not even see you in their race. King present each of us with different opponents in the weekly race. It is possible to report such a player to Player Support and hopefully get them removed from your game.

As there is no contest on at the moment I can't see the point of anyone wanting to cheat! What do they gain by cheating exactly? During a live contest it makes sense. Right now, it makes no sense to me. Who exactly is this player trying to cheat against?
