If you did (play via Facebook) you would know dear Kerrie ๐. In order to play via the Fb platform, you have to log into your Fb account and then access the available King games through your Fb opening screen.
The merger relates to separate accounts opened by the same players on the same device or platform. But I will leave the whole explanation to our friend @steventseng as he has had the unfortunate first hand experience of the process.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I seems to me that chocolate has always had the bad habit to hide jelly if it is underneath. So it can be overlooked if no attention is paid to the remaining number. But what seems new is that once you clear the chocolate the jelly underneath is cleared at the sametime. Do I understand well what you kindly described?

I would be lying if I answered that I sat quietly, haha. It is not an easy number and I did not add it simply
I lost a lot over the course of my journey with King games
I lost a lot, a lot, a lot of boosters, and I lost a lot of gold bullion. I donโt remember the number, but I remember the largest number I lost was 5,000 gold bullion, and I couldnโt get any of it back.
But my loss is more than... 40000 It was not easy to accept it and sit quietly
So I tried and tried. This is the first time. My attempts were not in vain. I contacted customer service after several attempts and they confirmed that I actually owned it. They were cooperative and understanding. I truly thank them with all my heart. โค๏ธ
For their effort, cooperation and time with me to recover it

Yes that's right but no it's not. The chocolate never disappears it's always there.
The jelly is under the circled chocolate. When I matched the three orange the jelly cleared but the chocolate stayed the same. If I switched the green and the wrapped purple it wouldn't clear the chocolate.
This is the starting board. Unless I'm missing it there's no way to tell which chocolate is stationary. You're unable to anticipate where it will be since it changes every time the level is played.
