it was very motivating to work for gold bars along the rewards ladder.. disappointed that this was eliminated .

I agree. The odds of me making the 250 gold bars at the very top are slim to none.

It is every second week. Also the top 4 are 15k, 12.5K, 2k, 15k. Getting the 250 gold is very difficult.

I had that this week but seeing as it's impossible to get 250 bars I actually haven't played much cc this week

This thing takes around 400 levels to be beaten.

Basically you need to lose a candy heavy level, that has an easy to avoid final turn or two mechanic, till you have max turns and just try and farm it and get a small mountain that way. Then repeat until you have spent 250+ gold and make the whole thing pointless.

Ah, I remember what a great event event this was when they did the first test run. I actually won it once back then! No chance now. This event has been totally ruined and belongs on the scrap heap.
