Episode Race

After numerous and more numerous emails to King.com re problems with my game I keep getting referred to the Community. So my problem stems from advice emailed via Support to reinstall my game which I did plus I lap sent screenshots of the problem. This results in my having to start from the first game even though my profile still shows 7000.

Also I am unable to partake in the episode race enabling me the opportunity to win gold bars. I am asked to join and once I have played one game it then says I am lost in the race.

HELP IF YOU CAN PLEASE.

hi no still original email used although had to create a new Community log in as it wouldn’t accept either original or indeed new password.

thanks for your input. Done everything which has been suggested only thing is repeating everything whilst standing on my head 🤣. Yes totally agree with getting King to help as seems to me the onus has been put on the members to sort everything out.

I'm sorry to hear that you have lost your game progress but I'm sure that it has been backed up so I wanted to ask, have you have made sure to connect the game app using the correct email address?

Is there anyone else who played the game on the same device? If you happen to be using an Apple device, can you try the following please:

How to Clear Safari Cache:

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
Scroll down and tap Safari.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Clear History and Website Data.
A pop-up will appear. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm.

After clearing the cache, open Candy Crush game, connect back to your Facebook or King account and make sure you use the correct email address and check if your progress has returned.

Hello @Armstrong24🤗 A Warm Welcome to the King Community!

A bit more information on how the "Player Support" team works… The emails you are referring are the "initial" email that we receive after sending our compliant. These initial emails are "automated emails" contain generic info with some troubleshooting steps. That's what we all receive for any issue we complain about.

Unless we are experiencing game freezing issues, etc., we can ignore that email. But, we have to send a reply through that automated email and explain the issue we are experiencing, and also include any screenshots you might have. Then, an agent will be contacting you (within 72 hours) to assist you.

Contacting Player Support team is generally a delayed and time consuming process! Please be patient until you get in touch with an agent. But, promptly replying back is the key to get a response from them. Otherwise, they will think that our issue is resolved and will close the ticket.

If you saved the progress of your game before you uninstalled the app @Armstrong24 then all you have to do is sign back into the game once you have reinstalled the app with the same email address and password that you used before.

I am asked to join and once I have played one game it then says I am lost in the race.

There is no fix for this issue. All you can do is start a new game using a new email address and start the game again if you want to receive a working Episode Race.

In theory you could start a new game and ask King to reinstate your old progress. Whe they do this all your old achievements are lost and every level is shown as being completed with two stars. Problem with that approach is getting King Support to do anything is too difficult and time consuming.
