so For the first time ever I purchased extra lives (bars). Now I’ve been stuck on a level because at the end of the game there is no more extra boosters (help). They only want you to purchase more bars.

I don't think those 2 events are connected, although I share your pain at having to buy the piggybank. I can't seem to find competitions where I can win those coveted gold bars.
I have put an absolute limit on spending $$$, so there are many days I sit on the same level, and then I'm tempted with additional moves if I spend 10 gold bars. So I held out one day and the offer went from the usual 5 moves, to 9 moves, and ultimately to 16 moves.
I know I haven't answered your question, and as I'm relatively new here I would need more information about these free boosters. I do think you will eventually win the level you are stuck on, so good luck. And apologies to the moderators for being off topic etc.

Unable to purchase
Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
