I'm not seeing the episode race and what place I'm in to win 25, 30, 35 or 45 gold bars. I've finished one but nothing. What happened to it. It normally shows towards the upper left of the screen

I agree! I am disappointed that we can't win episode races anymore! I may just quit playing!
I am assuming you are playing the CCS Facebook app on a browser.
Yes, the Episode Race has disappeared on the Facebook app.
However, Episode Race is still available if you play from the Microsoft Store CCS app on your Windows pc or the app on you phone. But the catch is you may have trouble logging in with your Facebook account.
Be careful though if you decided to login with a King account. My advice is to take screenshots of your boosters and gold bars before you login with king account. Just in case you lose your gold bars, you can contact Player Support with evidence.
Looks like King is trying to discourage players to use Facebook.
