I made the mistake of purchasing gold bars for the first time ever. I’m past level 14000. Now, I don’t get ANY free help. This used to be my favorite, but not any more. It’s getting less & less of my time. Way to go King!!!☹️

Yes. I saw a comment a while back where the person said CCS is basically "Pay to play" now. Seems they are right, sadly.

I can relate to that. I had it happen a few times where CC said I won the level, then as usual after playing the level CC went back to the map, and the same level that I supposedly thought I just won was not marked as won. I had to replay the levels.
Even when Sweet Cinema was available to me, when playing hard levels, I sometimes felt like I was spending as much time watching ads as I was playing the levels.
I just can't justify spending money on the game. One would think we wouldn't have to considering how many ads we are forced to watch!
And if you don't spend money, the algorithm won't let you win in the higher levels. I'm getting close to checking out too. Picture provided of level 13,102 that I technically should have been awarded a win for. Just needed the one last egg shell dinosaur dude to fall, level ended with him above 3 matching orange candies but they didn't dissolve like they should have.

I am in the same boat. Here is how I got to where I am now. I have been playing Candy Crush Saga for a very long time. I managed to get to Level 16,500 something without ever paying anything. I did this by relying on "Sweet Cinema" to get boosters to deal with the toughest levels. Then, my son bought a Candy Crush gift card for my wife. She went to redeem the card, and instead of the benefits going to her they came to me. At that point Sweet Cinema disappeared and never came back. I just have 3 gold bars and that's it. I seem to have no way to get additional boosters without paying. I am wondering if I am done!.
